From April 7-20, 2026, significant disruptions to rail traffic will occur due to works on the reconstruction and modernization of railway line from Dugo Selo to the Hungarian border, as well as maintenance works on the Ivanić-Grad – Prečec and Sesvete – Dugo Selo sections.
From April 7 at 0:30am until April 20 at 11:59 pm the railway line will be closed to traffic between Sesvete, Dugo Selo and Ivanić-Grad stations, and Sesvete, Dugo Selo and Vrbovec stations. Also, the railway line connecting Križevci, Koprivnica and Novo Drnje will be closed to trafiic from April 7-20, from 8:15 am until 4:15 pm, except on Sundays.
During these periods, replacement buses will operate instead of some trains, while certain train services will be canceled.
Replacement buses will operate on the routes Sesvete – Dugo Selo – Sesvete, Sesvete – Vrbovec – Sesvete, Sesvete – Križevci – Sesvete, Sesvete – Koprivnica – Novo Drnje – Sesvete, Sesvete – Kloštar, Sesvete – Ivanić-Grad – Sesvete, Sesvete – Novoselec i Dugo Selo – Ivanić-Grad.
From April 7-20, city and suburban trains will operate to and from Sesvete station only, and shuttle buses will run between Sesvete and Dugo Selo stations.

Additionally, during this period, passengers holding HŽ Putnički prijevoz tickets will be able to use ZET buses and trams as alternative transport, while passengers holding ZET tickets will be able to use HŽ Putnički prijevoz trains.
