Preparation of the project and other design documentation for the reconstruction and construction of the second track line on the Hrvatski Leskovac – Karlovac section

The aim of the Project was to prepare study and project documentation (Feasibility Study, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Environmental Impact Assessment, Preliminary and Main Design) including draft project application, obtaining Location Permit and Building Permits and draft technical procurement documentation as a prerequisite for applying for EU co-financing for the works on the section of the railway line Hrvatski Leskovac – Karlovac on the Mediterranean Corridor.

The Contract was concluded on November 9, 2012 with consortium composed of Italferr S.P.A., IRD Engineering S.r.l. and Technital S.P.A. in the amount of € 7.1 million.

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance – IPA/Transport Operational Programme – TOP).

The following documentation was prepared as part of the Project:
• Feasibility study

• Environmental Impact Assessment
• Preliminary Design with obtaining a Location Permit
